On Location in Latin America |
Latin America seems to be flavour of the month on the BBC... Jonathan Dimbleby embarks upon A South American Journey covering over 6,000 miles, visiting Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil! These programmes offer a fascinating insight into the colourful life and people of South America.
With this in mind we thought you might like to hear about some of our recent adventures to the Americas, however there is no real substitute for exploring these year round destinations for yourself! |

Oliver in Southern Chile
For a truly off the beaten track experience, a visit to the wilderness and sparsely populated Aisen region of Chilean Patagonia is a must for me. Travel along the Carretera Austral, one of the great road journey's, fly-fish for trout and salmon and marvel at the vast glaciers of the Patagonian Ice Caps.

I'm sat at Ian Fleming's desk in Goldeneye, his Jamaican home that is now a luxury boutique bolt-hole. I'm hoping that the same muse which inspired the creation of James Bond will assist me with my Steppes Travel "On Location" blog. I've a back-up glass of finest Jamaican rum in case inspiration runs dry!
