Hato El Cedral
Hato El Cedral is a wildlife focused lodge set within a 130,965 acre (53,000 hectare) working cattle ranch near the town of Mantecal in Central Llanos.
This extraordinary reserve is drained by three rivers, Río Matiyure, Río Arichuna and Caño Caicara and is home to more than 350 bird species, and an array of mammals including crocodiles, monkeys and capybara. Naturalist guides escort two-daily safari excursions into the reserve offering visitor’s chance encounters with wildlife while learning about the Llanos' thriving ecosystem.
Hato El Cedral offers 25 comfortable cabañas with ensuite facilities and air conditioning. Meals are served family style in the main lodge, alongside a bar and swimming pool. A minimum stay of atleast 4 days is recommended to appreciate a wildlife experience in Los Llanos.
