Trip Overview
Our Journey Idea to Ecuador & The Galapagos Islands encompasses many of the highlights on offer in this South America country. You can visit the capital city of Quito, a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage city with its ornate buildings and cathedrals. Travel through the amazing ecosystem of the Amazon Rainforest with its fascinating flora and fauna; a hot and humid area that sits in contrast to the mighty Andes mountains with its fresh spring-like climate.
You can stay in a traditional hacienda, climb a volcano or visit one of the local markets to really experience Ecuadorian life. After spending time on the mainland fly out to the Galapagos Islands and join your boat to voyage around the magical islands with your naturalist guide, spending time both on the islands and in the water to optimise your wildlife sightings.
