Pousada do Rio Mutum
Pousada do Rio Mutum is situated near Lake Chacorore in the municipal district of Barão de Melgaco, one of the most beautiful regions of Mato Grosso´s Pantanal.
The pousada offers 22 air conditioned cottages dotted throughout the property's 17 acres (7 hectares). All cottages are bright and spacious with shower facilities and a small veranda strung with a hammock. Pousada do Rio Mutum serves a variety of regional specialities beneath the enclosed palapa-style restaurant. There is also a bar, swimming pool, children's splash pool, souvenir shop and convenience store. Activities at Pousada do Rio Mutum include horseback riding through the forests, canoeing, fishing, bird-watching tours with an experienced naturalist guide, hiking trails and nocturnal wildlife tours.
