Amazon Village
The Amazon Village is located 19 miles (30 kilometres) from Manaus on the banks of Puraquequara Lake.
Amazon village offers 45 double screened apartments, each with a private bathroom, and a veranda with a hammock. All meals are served family-style inside the main lodge. Please note the lodge does not have a generator, power is supplied by an alternative source, so lights and hot water are often limited in the evening and substituted with candlelight. Activities at the Amazon Village include a number of different treks, caiman spotting and piranha fishing.
