Txai Resort
Txai Resort is nestled amid a 247 acre (100 hectare) coconut plantation on the pristine Cacao Coast, 30 miles (50 km’s) north of the colonial harbour town of Ilhéus.
This beautiful boutique-style resort offers 40 spacious suites and 26 individual cottages distributed amongst tropical forest beyond a seemingly endless white sandy shoreline. Each rustic cottage is raised on stilts and all accommodation is strategically positioned to make most of the paradisiacal views while maintaining a sense of privacy to its guests. Many cottages also boast an outdoor whirlpool or shower.
Sample delicious Bahian cuisine including fresh seafood specialities at either of the resort restaurants, and sip a cocktail at one of four sophisticated bars while watching the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean. During the day lounge beside your favourite pool, there are six to choose from, or partake in a programme of water sports from the beach. Txai Resort also offers horseback riding, a fitness centre, and spa facilities.
