Chalalan Ecolodge

Chalalan Ecolodge lies in the depths of the Bolivian Amazon at the edge of Lake Chalalan, accessible only by dugout canoe.

Constructed almost entirely from traditionally crafted local materials, Chalalan Ecolodge strives to maintain an environmental friendly ethos by implementing a range of eco-friendly methods such as harvesting solar energy and practising waste management. The lodge is surrounded by primary rainforest inhabited by a huge variety of birds and animals including monkeys, caiman, turtles, macaws, jaguar and puma. Chalalan Ecolodge is ideal for nature enthusiasts and those with a keen sense of adventure.
