Yacutinga Lodge
Yacutinga Lodge resides in a superb natural setting in the northeastern province of Misiones, 60km (37 miles) from Iguazú Falls. Surrounded by a lush subtropical forest teeming with wildlife, this rustic lodge strives to sustain and improve the local natural environment, so much so it has established its own biological research station using the profits earned by tourism to the lodge.
Constructed using locally sourced materials, including wood salvaged from naturally fallen trees, Yacutinga Lodge was designed to blend harmoniously into the surrounding virgin forest without causing a lasting negative impact on the local environment. The lodge hosts 20 twin and double suites, each with ensuite facilities, a private terrace and 24-hour hot water.
Daily excursions into the forest are lead by knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides, while ample time is also provided for guests to relax by the pool or swing in a hammock while listening to the harmonious cacaphony of birdsong.
