Estancia Huechahue
Estancia Huechahue lies 43 miles (70 kms) east of the picturesque town of San Martin de los Andes at the banks of Rio Alumine and Rio Collon Cura. Owned and managed by an Argentine family, this traditional working estancia comprises of two rustic guesthouses, each featuring 8 double ensuite rooms.
Estancia Huechahue offers a wide range of activities and excursions to keep guests entertained. Choose from a full programme of horse riding expeditions, trekking to ancient burial caves, fly fishing, rafting down Rio Alumine, and birdwatching. At certain times of the year you may even be lucky enough to see flocks of up to thirty condors cruising the thermals, a stunning sight to behold particularly late afternoon.
