Trip Overview
This voyage explores Baja California’s Sea of Cortez by luxury yacht, with the opportunity to travel by kayak, motorized inflatable boat and on foot encountering flora and fauna that are found nowhere else in the world. In this World Heritage biosphere reserve, experience pods of dolphins numbering in the thousands and view up to twelve different whale species, including the largest living being on earth — the blue whale.
This region is arguably the world’s best whale watching destination. As well as the rich wildlife, enjoy exclusive cultural experiences including a visit to tiny Isla Coyote where fishermen and their families live in the only permanent settlement in the islands. Along the way enjoy snorkeling with juvenile sea lions and myriad forms of sea life, a burro (donkey) ride into the arroyos (canyons), as well and plenty of down time for kayaking, paddle boarding, beachcombing and relaxing.
