Trip Overview
This Alaskan cruise is ideally suited to those who love active wilderness exploration, with kayaks and paddleboards onboard allowing you to explore under your own steam, alongside more structured daily guided walking and zodiac-based excursions. The small size of the boats allows access to the quiet coves and narrow passages inaccessible to the larger ships, often providing front row seats to some great wildlife viewing opportunities. This part of Alaska is home to some of the densest bear (brown and black) populations in North America, while its waters are home to the largest concentrations of humpbacks in the Northern Hemisphere. Orca, sea otters, bald eagles, seals and mountain goats are also often seen.
