Les Jardins de Skoura
Les Jardins de Skoura is located 38 kilometres from Ouarzazate and in the heart of the Skoura palm plantation. This ancient residence with traditional and authentic architecture offers a warm welcome. The French owner has created a comfortable hotel in a tranquil setting with heaps of rustic charm.
The guest rooms have beamed cane ceilings and are decorated using Berber fabrics, lighting and rugs. Les Jardins de Skoura offers guests the chance to relax by the swimming pool in the shade of the olive-trees, enjoy the sun on one of the roof terraces or chill out in one of the Berber tents which dot the gardens. Meals at the hotel are cooked using home grown produce from the gardens whenever possible. The roof terrace is often lit by candlelight and the hotel is also home to the owners’ friendly dog and cats, as well as a resident donkey that is happy to take guests for a stroll around the neighboring hamlets.
