Southern Morocco
The north and the south of Morocco are separated by the Atlas Mountains. Whereas in the north you will find the whitewashed Imperial city of Fez and landscapes of olive trees and rolling countryside, as you progress southwards across the snow capped mountains the scenery changes from cedar forests to dusty pink Berber villages, palmeraies, imposing Kasbahs and the beginning of the Sahara.
