Tigmi
Tigmi is located in a magical desert landscape 15 miles south of Marrakech between the city and the High Atlas. The name derives from the word Tigme, which means 'my house' in the Berber dialect. The house sits on the brow of a Berber hamlet of Tagadert in the Haouz plain & has been converted from a labyrinthine string of village dwellings into a rustic yet comfortable hotel. The style of the hotel is authentic and the renovations have been carried out using local and traditional materials as well as locally woven rugs and wall hangings for the interior design.
The hotel containing 8 spacious suites, built around six separate courtyards. The extensive grounds include gardens, 2 pools, dining room and several terraces with 360° views of the entire area stretching as far as Marrakech and the High Atlas Mountains.
