Shali Lodge
Located just a few minutes' walk from the main square of Siwa town, Shali Lodge is reached along a charming palm-covered dirt road. The lodge has been built using rock salt, to create a truly traditional accomodation in the heart of Egypt’s Western desert.
The rooms are simple but elegant, furnished with palm frond chairs & beds made from local salt!
The Shali Lodge restaurant offers wonderful, traditional food which can be enjoyed on the candle-lit roof terrace, shaded by date palms or on brightly coloured cushions around the open fire in the lounge.
