Trip Summary
This Journey Idea encompasses the highlights China has to offer, including four days exploring the Yunnan province. Travel from the hustle and bustle of Beijing to the quiet backstreets of Xian, lined with trees and ornate arches. Then spend time wandering in narrow cobbled streets of Lijiang, visiting the Han Jing tombs, an underground museum and the idyllic scenery surroundings of Black Dragon Pool in Lijiang. Your final days can be spent exploring the town of Shangrila, walking on Ringa Hill and visiting the Sumsanling Monastery, built in the 17th Century by the 5th Dalai Lama.
