North and Central Asia Holidays
The cultures and landscapes of North and Central Asia are both spectacular and fascinating and include the largest country in the world, Russia.
The black beaches of Kamchatka present a newly discovered slice of Russia and the goliath state of Kazakhstan is a mystery for intrepid travellers. Kyrgyzstan has monster mountains and ice-blue lakes that dominate 90% of the country, while Mongolia records its history in song and monuments.
The main attraction of Tajikistan are the Pamir Mountains and for Turkmenistan, it is the great Garagum desert, whilst the northern shoreline of bordering Uzbekistan leads to the arid Aral Sea. In addition, this region encompasses the legendary Silk Road, cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, as well as the archaeological remains of one of the earth's least-known civilisations at Merv.
Finally, in China, whose ancient riches are complemented by modern marvels of architecture, and Tibet, a country that offers such traditional cultures, you can be transformed into a different world.
