Beit Zaman
Recently opened, Beit Zaman has been transformed from four Arabic houses into a small boutique hotel. Located on the historical Straight Street in the heart of the old city of Damascus, the Roman Arc of Triumph and Bab Sharky Gate (The Eastern gate, one of the seven gates of old Damascus) can be seen from the roof terrace. Once inside the hotel, you will be welcomed by the pretty courtyards with carved stone work inlaid with coloured paste, a central fountain and the sweet scent of citrus trees & jasmine.
Beit Zaman has twenty eight traditionally styled rooms and the main facilities allow the option to enjoy a cup of tea under the 200 year old ceiling of the Jillak tea room or a hubbly bubbly at Dardashe Café overlooking Straight Street. Additional facilities include a traditional hammam and bar area.
