Beit AlWali
In the heart of the Old City stands Beit Al Wali, an old Damascene house from the 18th century.
As with many of the traditional houses it was completely destroyed by the powerful earthquake that hit Damascus in 1759, a few years later the ruins were rebuilt. In 2010 it opened its doors as a boutique hotel.
The 2 adjoining houses offer comfortable rooms with excellent service and a restaurant serving delicious food.
