1000 Nights Camp
1000 Nights Camp is the only one of its kind at Wahiba Sands, travel further into the sands away from the main 'traffic' of this now busy area. The camp is set amongst the Cineraria trees which emphasizes the beauty of the golden sand dunes surrounding the camp.
The camp has ten hand-made Bedouin wool tents, furnished Arabic carpets, comfortable twin beds, table and chairs, and towels. Each tent has a separate walled but open roofed shower and toilet. There is also a dining tent with cushions and low tables, where you are served a simple yet tasty Omani dinner. The camp has no electricity so at night the camp is lit by candles and lamps offering peace and quiet. 1000 Nights have just added a new, small swimming pool so perfect for a post camel ride dip! Mornings at the camp are best spent watching the fog clear and the sun gradually rise from behind the sand dunes.
