Trip Overview
This 8 day journey idea is a fantastic option for a first holiday to Oman. Start by visiting the capital city of Muscat with a full day to explore the forts and museums. Leave Muscat and drive along the beautiful coast, stopping en-route for a swim and end the day by seeing giant green turtles.

Spend a night camping in the desert of Wahiba Sands, home to the traditional Bedouin people who are known for their hospitality and their knowledge of the Sands.

You can also visit the town of Nizwa and if your visit falls on a Friday, you will have the chance to witness the goat and cattle auction.
