The South
Less visited than other parts of Lebanon and an area of the country that has suffered greatly from the civil war and unrest in the Middle East. This region is rich in history, both ancient and modern.
The city of Sidon (Saida) has a charming Crusader Sea Castle and Medieval souqs while the beachside city of Tyre (Sour) has a picturesque harbour and Roman sites.
