Isfahan is the jewel of Iran and is considered to be one of the finest Islamic cities. It boasts architectural structures comprising of exquisite blue mosaic tiles and its bridges are masterpieces in their own right.  Famed for its waterways, there are a number of magnificent bridges including the See-o Se Pol Bridge with its 33 arches and an Armenian church.

A fairer city it would be hard to find and a strolling around here in the evening sunshine is a delight with its huge central square, formerly a polo field, surrounded by elegant mosques and palaces. At one end is the souq or bazaar where several miles of tunnels link carpet dealers, silversmiths, spice sellers and pottery traders - a wonderful place to get lost in as during this time additional unique gems are discovered. From the vibrant bazaars and souqs to the stunning blue tiled buildings, this bustling city is a must see for travellers to Iran.
