Windermere Estate, is where the manicured tea gardens merge with the lush green forests of western ghats. Hallmarked for its exclusiveness and high range hospitality, Windermere is a 60 acre Cardamom Plantation.
There are three types of accommodation available - The Valley View Room, The Cottages, or the Planters Villa Room. Valley View Rooms are four rooms set in verdant gardens with veranda and typical plantation home interior having a view of the Chithirapuram valley below.
The Cottages are six exquisite rooms with a large with an area of 600 square feet each, each housing king sized beds, a huge bathroom and beautiful heavy furniture.
Planter's Villa Room is set amidst the oaks with a perfect views of surrounding tea-clad hills of the Western Ghats. Each villa being 1,100 sq ft of wood with a private balcony, sitting & dinning, and a bathroom which opens into a courtyard still leaves you with an enormity of space. Rustic & cozy furniture makes it a synonym of 'Comfort'. The large French windows, are a wonderful link with the landscape.
