Orange County

Kabini Main Landscape

Orange County is located on the banks of the pristine Kabini River near Nagerhole National Park in Southern India.  At Nargerhole, witness the largest congregation of Asiatic Elephants in the world, and these maestic mammals rule the roost here.  Whilst the main fauna is largely herbivorous, you may also be lucky enough to see Tiger, Leopard and Dhole (Wild dog).

Orange County Resort  couldn't be more beautiful, with a wonderful peace and tranquility enhanced by luxury and home comforts. The resort architecture is based on a tribal 'kadu kuruba' leitmotif, where each of the guest huts combines traditional craft and modern luxury.

From the outside the dwellings subtly incorporate the colours and textures of the landscape while interiors offer luxury and style.  During your stay take a ride along the river on elephant back or enjoy a gentle coracle ride down the Kabini River.  For bird lovers and enthusiasts join in-house naturalist for an early morning walk in the jungle or visit the core zone in a jeep in pursuit of the elusive Tiger.
