Siolim House

Siolim House exterior Siolim House room

A beautifully restored 300 year old Portuguese era manor house that once belonged to a governor of Macau, Siolim House is a unique boutique 'heritage' hotel in Goa. After an extensive restoration that lasted more than two and a half years, Siolim House opened to welcome guests looking for something other than an international 'five star' beach hotel. The entire restoration of Siolim House was done with a view to it being a home, and therefore it has been designed with extremely generous use of space.

In a building that had twenty-four rooms, there are today only seven suites and seven bathrooms. Extensively furnished with antiques and exquisite rare wood carved furniture, this is as close as one can get to experience the 500 years of Portuguese influence in Goa.

Siolim House is quite unlike any other hotel in the area. Siolim House offers the opportunity to experience life in a beautiful Goan village, close to Goa's most northern beaches in an area unencumbered by tourist development.
