A little more about the Mekong Delta
Southeast Asia’s Mekong, provides a rich tapestry of river life. Through Cambodia and Vietnam this great waterway inextricably links the two countries, despite their strikingly diverse cultures.

Weaving snakelike through Southeast Asia, from the bustling Vietnamese delta, upstream into Cambodia, culminating with the great Khmer Temple of Angkor. Along the way experience whole towns floating on rafts, explore remote villages untouched by the modern world and hopefully see river dolphin, as well as a chance to visit the charming Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.

Undertake an enchanting Mekong River cruise through the heart of Vietnam and Cambodia. Travelling aboard one of our Mekong river boats, the practicalities for the traveller of a direct shipping link between Saigon and Angkor are apparent. One need no longer suffer the inconvenience of checking in and out of hotels and enduring bumpy roads to visit these magnificent places.

When to go
Water levels can fall towards April so a visit to the delta is best timed for November to February.
