A little more about the Beaches of Vietnam
Vietnam’s coastline is blessed with more than just the astonishing Halong Bay. The beaches along the coastline vary in the different regions of the country, although the majority have pristine white sands.
The area from Hue to Nha Trang in the Central and South Central Coastal regions of Vietnam offer the countries best beaches. Miles of coconut palm fringed beaches, glistening sea water, dotted with quaint fishing villages.
For a remote experience, the north Central coast offers continuous sandy beaches but the seas can be quite ferocious here so it’s great for walking but not so brilliant for swimming. Halong Bay has plenty of smaller beaches, the majority of them are quite rocky and shallow making them better suited to kayakers than sun worshippers.
Vietnam now has a number of four and five star hotels situated along its spectacular beaches and more are in the process of construction allowing completely new areas of the country to be explored.
Vietnam's beaches, coupled with the culture of the country make a perfect and yet unusual beach getaway destination.
When to go
The south is drier during our late winter and into spring. There will likely be some afternoon showers if it is very hot, but otherwise you can expect clear skies and warm seas.
