Undertake an enchanting 8-day Mekong River cruise through the heart of Vietnam and Cambodia between the bustling Mekong Delta and the great Khmer ruins of Angkor. Travelling on board a comfortable ship with varied daily guided excursions exploring colourful local markets, floating villages and temples, you’ll have the opportunity to gain an in-depth view of traditional river life very different from travelling by land, as well as incorporating the “must-see” ruins at Angkor.
Voyage Outline
Days 1 to 2: Fly London to Ho Chi Minh via Bangkok. Day at leisure.
Days 3 to 4: Transfer to the port and embark mid-morning. Travel Cai Be – Vinh Long - Sadec - Culao Gien - Chau Doc
Days 5 to 6: Chau Doc / Border Crossing. Phnom Penh
Days 7 to 8: Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham, Day to explore Kampong Cham Area
Days 9 to 10: Tonle River. Tonle Sap - Siem Reap - Angkor
Day 11: Siem Reap to London via Bangkok
