Start your trip in the vibrant city of Bangkok with its colourful floating markets, shining temples, massive Buddha and a stunning Grand Palace. Continue north to the Golden Triangle and the cities of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai to experience a more rural side of Thailand with lush rainforests, trekking, elephants, tribal villages and crafts. End your holiday on a white sandy beach in Phuket offering superb diving and snorkelling opportunities.

When to go
The climate is tropical and being a long country with islands to both the east and west, there is always an area to visit where the weather is at its best, however the best time to travel to Thailand is from November to March.
