Praise for the Mekong River Voyage

Dear Alex,
Thank you for your correspondence received earlier last week, and to let you know that the Mekong trip was just the most superb experience. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of it, from the time in Ho Chi Minh, the actual cruise and the stay in Siem Reap - it was all just unforgettable. The Mekong Pandaw was really lovely, very different from the 'Road to Mandalay' in style, but excellent in every respect. The crew were delightful and the food at every single meal, every day, was just sublime. It was so varied, so plentiful in terms of choice and quantity whilst being beautifully presented, of excellent quality and faultlessly served. I thought the visits ashore were well balanced in terms of the variety of differing venues and the unique experiences offered throughout the week.
I particularly also enjoyed the time in Siem Reap at the Angkor Village Hotel - what a wonderful place to stay - and although I was not able to spend as long as the tour guide wanted in looking around the temple complexes, for me it was everything I could have wished for.
I am grateful for the package put together for me by yourself and Sarah, I hope that I will be in a position to have the opportunity to participate in more journeys with Steppes Travel in the future.
