Trip Overview
For the more adventurous family looking for an active holiday, a trip to Malaysian Borneo can easily fulfil this. If you have a love for diving this trip allows ample time to take full advantage of the excellent dive sites around Sabah. March to May is a great time to see the whale and hammerhead sharks.
Whilst in Malaysian Borneo we thoroughly recommend a visit to see the orangutans and can take the opportunity to search for other wildlife, including the Proboscis monkey.
Danum Valley is a wonderful place rich in Sabah's unique flora and fauna. Chose to do as much or as little as you like here. A day may entail trekking a trail, visiting the falls or water tubing in the river.
While staying at Kapalai you may dive at various sites depending on permits, these include Kapalai itself and Mabul or Sipadan.
