Trip Overview
This itinerary combines the Minarets, Museums and Churches of Istanbul with the intriguing landscape of Cappadocia. Erosion of the soft volcanic rock here has created an almost unearthly landscape of towering cones and monoliths. With centuries of human settlement, Monastery complexes, cave-churches and houses have been carved deep into the cool of the sandstone.
