Amalfi Coast

Almalfi coast, italy

The Costiera Amalfitana (Amalfi Coast) is a divine stretch of coastline that ripples from Positano in the west, to Vietra sul Mare in the east along the southern face of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Salerno Province is famed for its rugged terrain of  hairpin bends and steep rocky outcrops terraced with patel-hued fishing villages overlooking the Bay of Naples, including Maiori, Minori, Ravello, Atrani, Praiano, Scala, and perhaps most famous of all, the town of Sorrento. The Amalfi Coasts sheer physical beauty earned it a UNESCO World Heritage Site listing in 1997, and it remains as one of the most photographed areas in Italy today.
