The Caves
A colourful collection of twelve cottages, suites and a four bedroom villa sitting atop cliffs that are honeycombed with caves, one of which has been adapted into a private candle lit dining area with the sea lapping to one side of your table. You may dine privately in any of the open spaces along the cliff-tops and fresh local produce features heavily in a varied daily menu. There are two main dining gazebos and a cosy rum and cigar bar. The Caves offers a Jacuzzi, sauna, Aveda spa and salt water swimming pool.
The cliffs are topped by a variety of landings, steps, sun spots and shaded secluded areas all of which have grandstand views of the sea. There are “jumping points” of various elevation all along this private corniche that tempt you into the crystal clear waters lapping at the cliff’s base.
Water rafts, kayaks and snorkeling equipment are all included as are bicycles and there are a wide range of excursions and activities that can be booked through reception. These include trips to Paradise Park, Montego Bay, horse riding, diving, golf and deep sea fishing among others.
Some rooms are air-conditioned and others benefit from cooling sea breezes. All accommodation includes stocked mini-bars and fridges, CD players and music libraries. There is a nightly turn-down service.
