Panama City
Panama City is the exciting cosmopolitan capital of great contrasts, located on the Pacific Coast of Panama. Soaring skyscrapers and a thriving banking district demonstrate the new era as they sparkle next to the remainders of Panama Viejo and the fading grandeur of the sumptuous French-style mansions of Casco Antiguo, which are slowly and lovingly being restored into fine restaurants and boutique hotels. Similarly the rather clinical area of the Canal Zone provides a further contrast to this incredibly diverse city with many stories to tell.
