Tranquilo Bay
Tranquilo Bay is an adventure lodge situated on the Caribbean coastline of a forested ridge adjacent to Bastimentos National Marine Park in Bocas del Toro.
The resort encompasses over 110 acres, covering three different ecosystems including an enormous stretch of coastline trailing part of Tranquilo Bay, teeming with tropical fish and colourful coral gardens. Immersed in this luscious paradise is a collection of 6 air-conditioned cabañas offering either ocean or rainforest views. Each cabaña features a large hand-crafted bed, local hard wood furnishings, tile floors and a large shower room. French doors open out onto a private veranda with ceiling fan, Adirondack-style patio furniture and a hammock.
A vast programme of excursions and activities is on offer at Tranquilo Bay including diving, snorkelling, rainforest hiking and fishing. Surfing and turtle nesting opportunities are seasonal but can also be organised through Tranquilo Bay.
