Maroma Resort & Spa
Maroma Resort & Spa emulates a secluded oasis bordered by acres of coconut palms and a pristine sandy beach located midway between Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos on the Riviera Maya.
Each of the 58 rooms and suites is unique in design but essentially comprise a king-size bed, sunken bath tub and mahogany furnishings with locally produced tiles, ceramics and hand woven wool rugs. All rooms open out onto private terraces strung with hammocks.
Guests can enjoy a variety of dining experiences at Maroma Resort & Spa from a selection of small Yucatan inspired dishes at El Restaurante to gourmet cuisine infused with Yucatan, Mayan and Creole flavours at El Sol coupled with an extensive showcase of wines from the resort cellar. A new concept in spa cuisine is also offered at breakfast and lunch in Cilantro. Sample from over 100 different types of tequila at Freddy’s Tequila & Ceviche Bar and enjoy a nightcap or pre-dinner cocktail at the Lobby Bar.
The treatment rooms at Kinan Spa offer a selection of invigorating treatments based on ancient Mayan healing alongside yoga and Pilate classes. Additional resort facilities include 2 tennis courts, a jungle observation tower, 3 swimming pools surrounded by Zen-like gardens and scuba diving or snorkel equipment hire for exploration of the Gran Arrecife Maya situated just beyond the resort beach.
