Esencia Hotel
Esencia hotel is a 50 acre private estate in the Riviera Maya. Previously owned by an Italian Duchess the Esencia was decorated in her superior style. With a striking beach front, it continues to serve as beachside refuge for guests today.
The hotel comprises of cottages, ocean view rooms and garden rooms. The cottages are set in the tropical forest and include a living room, twin bedroom and master bedroom with walk in wardrobe and bathroom. Outside there is a private pool and terrace area.
Ocean view rooms are located in the main Esencia house as are the ocean view suites; these rooms offer spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. The suites have private terraces and spacious sitting areas. The Torre deluxe ocean view room offers a dramatic 360 degree view of the area; from the ocean to the canopy.
The Rosa ocean view master suite is the premium suite which previously belonged to the Duchess; this is a beautiful room which offers a luxurious stay with a large terrace area, walk in wardrobe, spacious bathroom and shower room.
In the Esencias garden you will find the garden rooms each with their own private balcony, the suites have larger terraces and private plunge pools. Each room offers modern facilities with large flat screen TVs.
The Esencia also has a spa which prides itself on using indigenous fruits, plants and herbs; many of which are grown in the gardens.
