La Purificadora

La Purificadora Terrace

Mexico’s renowned architect Ricardo Legorreta renovated this 19th century water purification factory to create La Purificadora hotel which stands in the colonial city centre of Puebla. This UNESCO heritage city was created under the orders of Fray Julian Garces in 1531 after he had a vision of angels showing him where to build the city.

The hotel comprises of a large open lobby with two fireplaces which makes for a welcoming space for guests to relax in, there are also three further lounges and a library. Legaorreta designed the La Purificadora Restaurant using the original wood from the former factory. Mexican cuisine is served on large shared tables and the Chefs table is used to host exclusive banquets and family meals.

Overlooking the San Francisco church, the terrace makes for a great place to relax and take in the views, there is also a pool, Jacuzzi and sauna for guests to use.

All of the bedrooms are equipped with all modern amenities.
