El Salvador Holidays

El Salvador landscape and rainbow

Nestled on the Pacific Coast between Guatemala and Honduras, El Salvador is the smallest of Central American countries and the most densely populated.  While El Salvador is remembered principally for its harrowing civil war in the 1980s, today it offers an unusual and rewarding country to visit with well maintained roads, beautiful scenery and the onset of some excellent properties.   With its rapidly growing economy, concerted efforts are being made to expand the tourism industry within El Salvador, but the delayed approach allows visitors the luxury of enjoying the towering volcanoes, pristine forests, delightful colonial cities and expansive beaches, without the crowds.
