Monteverde Lodge & Gardens
Monteverde Lodge & Gardens offer an upscale lodging experience amid secondary forest in the Tilarn Mountain Range, just 15 minutes from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.
A collection of 24 rooms are housed in the main lodge with a further 3 rooms located in gardens of exuberant ferns and bromeliads. Accommodation is spacious and beautifully presented with rich hardwood furnishings, queen-size beds dressed in earthy tones, a desk, and an ample bathroom with bathtub. Some rooms also benefit from an enormous wraparound window providing guests with the opportunity to observe local wildlife, including several hummingbird species, in comfort and privacy.
After a long day of exploration in Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve or perhaps the nearby Santa Elena Reserve, guests can relax in a solar-energy heated Jacuzzi sunken into the floor of a large glass atrium. The Garden Restaurant serves a tempting variety of local and international cuisine alongside the popular bar area and large open fireplace.
From Monteverde Lodge guests can explore numerous private nature trails meandering through its extensive gardens. In addition, a shuttle bus operates a frequent service to and from the cloud forest reserve.
