Lost Iguana Resort & Spa is a boutique style retreat perched on a peaceful mountainside amid dense rainforest overlooking Arenal Volcano and Arenal River Gorge, located 25 minutes from La Fortuna.
A series of two-storey buildings nestled into the rainforest houses 42 air-conditioned rooms and suites. All accommodation is furnished with a combination of hand carved teak and bamboo finishes. The spacious interiors are infused with light from the beautiful patio doors that open out on to a private balcony or terrace where views of Arenal Volcano can be observed. Exploring the rainforest has been made easy with a network of trails meandering through 80 acres of primary terrain. Alternatively, guests can attempt to defeat the fun hibiscus maze! The famous Arenal Hanging Bridges are located just a short walk from the Lost Iguana Resort & Spa. Ideal for bird watching enthusiasts, this rewarding 2-mile trail leads through virgin rainforest across a series of enormous bridges to a scenic outcrop overlooking Arenal Lake.
