Victoria
Victoria is home to one of the country’s most spectacular coastal drives, the Great Ocean Road. This beautiful route hugs the contours of the states rugged south coast and offers the magnificent wonder of the Twelve Apostles. Further inland some of the richest pastoral land in Australia provides the setting for regal old homesteads giving the area a feel of the English countryside. On from here the Grampian National Park offers fabulous bushwalking trails, great viewpoints and a multitude of wildlife and seasonal flowers.
Victoria is also home to Melbourne, Australia's sporting capital. This bustling city is becoming a close competitor to Sydney, with its amazing architectural structures and beautiful coastal beaches, including the beaches of Philip Island where there is the opportunity to view the world famous Penguin Parade, where Australia's Little penguins emerge from the sea at sunset and waddle to their burrows nestled in the sand dunes. A visit to this state is well combined with Tasmania, New South Wales or South Australia.
