Trip Overview
This unique extended expedition will offer passengers the highest chance of seeing the Great White Bear. Zodiacs are used to take expedition members to the numerous landing sights or to cruise along the coastline looking for wildlife & scenery along towering cliffs, with expansive bird colonies, spectacular glaciers, walrus haul-outs & historic whaling stations. With almost 24 hours of sun, time is virtually unlimited & expedition guides are always on hand to inform & enthuse about the wildlife & history of the region. When you are not on shore or in a zodiac they offer informative but informal lectures, covering everything from the flora and fauna of the region, tales of the early explorers through to ice navigation techniques.
