North Pole Cruise

50 years at North Pole (John Weller), Arctic

Why Join This Cruise:

  • The North Pole is an imaginary point that floats on the Arctic Ocean at the top of the world. On this trip you will push through the ice to 90 degrees North & stand where very few others have
  • Travel onboard the “50 Years of Victory”, the first Arktika-class icebreaker to have a spoon-shaped bow, the largest, most sophisticated and powerful icebreaker ever constructed
  •  There is a good chance of seeing polar bears hunting on the ice & once the pole has been “bagged” you return via little visited Franz Joseph Land, renown for it steep cliffs and seabird nesting sites

Trip Overview
Dare to undertake this ultimate expedition to the ends of the earth and join that exclusive club of those who have achieved the ultimate destination. Travelling aboard the powerful icebreaker Yamal, this is a purely destination focused trip, with sightseeing in Franz Josef land only once you've 'bagged' the pole itself. Hardy adventurers can use the holes created in the ice to plunge into the most exclusive swimming hole on Earth, while others may prefer the amazing views from the onboard helicopters.
