Trip overview
A cruise combining the Canadian Arctic’s Baffin Island and the west coast of Greenland. This voyage hugs the coast of southern Baffin Island before heading across Baffin Bay to Greenland UNESCO World Heritage site Jacobshaven Icefjord, which calves huge chunks of ice into Disko Bay. This is an infrequently visited area of the Arctic where you can appreciate the immense scale of the ice and fjordlands.

This voyage gives a great overview of the Inuit cultures of both Canada and Greenland, visiting both ancient and modern villages along with Viking sites. You can hope to encounter a wide variety of Arctic wildlife and birdlife including guillemots, kittiwakes, whales, seals, musk Ox and polar bear.
