Imbabala Zambezi Lodge
Located 80 kilometres west of Victoria Falls, with sweeping views of the Zambezi River, Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge is a charming lodge and is the perfect base from which to explore the Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls region whilst escaping the crowds.
The 5,000 acre concession has 14 kilometres of private Zambezi river frontage and offers accommodation for 18 guests in 8 individual thatch lodges. Each lodge is uniquely decorated and beautifully positioned with spacious verandas and offering great river views.
The main lodge comprises a lounge, dining room and bar area with fantastic views of both the river and a nearby waterhole which attracts wildlife throughout the year. A swimming pool and al fresco eating area are nestled under riverine trees and mouth-watering meals are served either outside under the stars or in the open-fronted dining room.
Activities on offer include morning, afternoon and night game drives conducted in open 4x4 safari vehicles on the Imbabala Private Concession Area, exploring the Zambezi River by boat and walking safaris and fishing excursions are available by prior arrangement. Bird watching here is exceptional!
