Musango Safari Camp
Musango Safari Camp is situated on its own island, just off the shoreline of the Matusadona National Park. Offering an abundance of wildlife from buffalo and elephant to the rare black rhino, Musango Safari Camp is also an ornithologist's paradise with a myriad of birds to be seen frequenting the birdbaths in front of the lodge and rooms.
It is owned and run by Steve Edwards, a professional guide. The accommodation at Musango consists of 6 large twin luxurious safari tents, each with an en-suite bathroom built of natural stone. Musango also boasts two large honeymoon suites with private plunge pools. These tented rooms are set in thick forest, and all face east over the lake, towards the rising sun. You can canoe down the creeks, walk in the wildlife area of the National Park behind the camp, visit the baby black rhino orphanage, go on a dinosaur fossil trip or travel by speedboat to more remote areas. It is reached by light aircraft charter or floatplane, which lands on the Lake directly in front of the camp.
