Harare
Harare is a vibrant, modern, cosmopolitan city. Often described as the 'Garden City' the streets are lined with flowering trees. The site of Harare was formerly part of the Shone chiefdom of Newharawa, after whom the city has been named. The first flag was raised in Unity Square on the 12 September 1890.
